Us, the sensible ones in our colourful but not mad shoes.
The fashion kids, in their overpriced (but likely fake trainers). We will mug these people.
The boot cut and sensible shoe crew.

Crocs are the ultimate utility footwear.
Quick enough to slip on the take the bins out, sturdy enough to handle a quick walk to said bins over uneven ground, and you can kick them into 4WD mode for more extreme activity/sexy time.
Socks for the extra grip on the inside.
It's a win-win really....

Kipchoge ran the sub 2 marathon in the Alphaflys, which are similar but a bit too bulky for me and quite a bit more expensive. These so called "supershoes" are only banned from track competitions where a spiked shoe would be faster anyway. They are not banned in road races. All the running shoe companies are coming up with similar shoes now, Nike was just ahead of the game. If you want to see a shoe that is banned because of the performance benefits, look up the Nike Viperfly. That thing looks mean.
They are purely running shoes so who cares what they look like. But yes, my wife did like the colour

CBD drinks at Sainsbury’s ?
I was very excited when we started renting this house (in 2019) as I noticed on Google maps there was a brewery just round the corner, until I took a walk over and found just a house. Turned out it was just the registered business address.
Been meaning to try them for a while anyway so I messaged them and asked if I could buy and collect some beers (from the house round the corner, social distanced of course) but instead the guy dropped these off on my door step. I paid for a multipack but he added a few more on top which is awesome.
They also plant trees for every beer they brew to offset their carbon footprint, which is great.

I told my wife about 2 new pairs I have and she was fine, but was like, can you find me the air max 90s in hyper jade? lol ffs I'll be doing that then
I downloaded all the apps mentioned. This could get expensive... or, make me some money? I suppose I could use another avenue to buy and sell things. I haven't got enough.

Looks beautiful. That radiator is crying out for a retro style column rad. In a designer colour if you wanted to go OTTA new fireplace and new parquet floor. I still need to put the skirting board on though.
Thanks. Yes we did think about the radiators (there are 3 in the room - one quite large). We might change them for much older style silver rads at some point but the floor was a bit of an impulse after the fireplace so didn't want the costs to spiral too much.Looks beautiful. Epic room. Very jealous. Though Id have probably ditched that small radiator before putting floor down and put a vertical radiator on wall adjacent to it.
