Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

A simple plain black tie. £5 from Sainsburys. Need to grab a slim one now, preferably silk.

There any around my area other than the Col de Rates?

I might as well try and see if i can get more than you :p
I'll drop you a convo and we'll take a look. It's harder to find by a map location with the book than the app, but the app apparently wont be out until next year :(

So I was at a wedding a while back which had an open bar and thought "lol, knock off Moretti!" and then the following Monday I was in Milan and Poretti was literally everywhere. I then popped into the airport and Poretti was everywhere there, too.

How has this thing scaled so far and wide, so quickly?!

It's been around a fair while. I've seen it in the UK for >5 years at least i'd have thought. Not like Madri which has literally infiltrated the world.

I do agree with you though. First time i thought it was like the Aldi knock-offs that you see :D

Will be a great addition to my clone wars corner.

Still contemplating some of the older starfighters, but visiting Bricktraders next week with a set to trade in and possibly exchange for a Tantive IV and some minifigs, so will see what happens there first.

Poretti is owned by Carlsberg
Madri is owned by Molsoon Coors

They both got pushed hard as the response to Moretti (Heineken) 's popularity
Madri is vile, I started to think the local bar staff were on commission for each pint they could shift as they were pushing it very hard. Haven't tried Poretti or noticed it in many pubs/bars up here yet though.

I tend to stick to Moretti or Menabrea.

Mahou ftw

I was commenting on this recently. Very rarely do you see San Miguel in Spain, other than in English type bars. Generally it's Mahou/Cruzcampo. Although i've found Ambar and Turia becoming more popular which are a little heavier than the traditional Spanish lagers.
Also find it odd that Amstel is always very popular.

It's still Alhambra or Cruzcampo for me.

Been busy as an expat then? :p

It has been tough. I told myself i wasn't drinking this week after only having 1 day previously without alcohol, which was when i felt pretty ill.

Monday - No booze - Winning :D
Tuesday - I got my NIE in Denia and there's a great beer shop. Bought 2 8.5% Double IPAs and drank them after a long bike ride (afternoon off work)
Wednesday - Appointment at an estate agent. Seemed rude not to hit a bar on the way home. Then got back, collected the dog and went to the local bar. It was shut so HAD to walk to the other one as we hadn't been yet (afternoon off work)
Thursday - Beer about 5pm for the last 30 minutes of work. Then restrained myself until cracking open Lemoncello around 8pm
Friday - Off out for tea. Likely grab a Negroni about 5pm to wind down

The clock change has been a dream, as it means we still have the sun on the terrace until ~6pm. Previously it'd gone by the time i logged off.

I'd like to say work isn't suffering, but it's been an instant click off at 5:30 to enjoy the outsides. Although i often then log back on later on.

Glad he decided to do another tour, the booking process was so painful. Tickets in basket, 10minutes to checkout. Pages took 10minutes to load zzzz.
