Yes!DIY kitchens in Pontefract?
Yes I haven't confirmed it's the alternator, could be a connection or even a fuse. But as I've bought the car in this state and need to get it running, I've decided to cover all bases when I get under the hood. I'll be quids in if it's just a bad connection and can return this!Sounds a decent price for Lucas, the last time i bought an alternator was a total breakdown on my mk1 fabia and the aa guy instantly said alternator, had it towed and done as i was out and about and a few days later flat battery, jumped it and damn only 12. something volts when running
Anyway (i ramble on after morning coffee) that's where the briskoda forums helped, the charging circuit joins near the starter motor and the loom tends to be tight, the joint goes bad, remade the connection and boom 14.something volts
Same here. So good!Yes!
good plan, its definitely worth searching for known charging issues with your model i am ok with a multimeter but the forums took me straight to the problem, i tried the same route with my immobiliser not coming off randomly but it was getting too complex so just had it deleted from the ecuYes I haven't confirmed it's the alternator, could be a connection or even a fuse. Cop out - fit it yourselfi can't wait lol. final part of my home refurb
howdens quoted me £9500 for a poorer spec, and nearly everyone on here said that DIYK quality was better than howdens...so a bit of a no-brainer
(builder wasn't happy though lol but agreed to fit it anyway)
hahaha...too scared i'll mess it up lolCop out - fit it yourself. I'm going to try and tackle the Belfast sink unit and waste today... And then maybe the bin unit and hob unit..I'll be parenting at the same time so progress may be intermixed with dolls and Lego.

that's gone well over my head lol. what and what for where?Make sure there's collet clips on that Speedfit connection if its hidden or get it redone in copper.
Don't want a £7.5k kitchen ruined for 30p worth of clips.
