Just put an order in for this as a thoughtful birthday present for my wife's uncle. He looks after our beast when we visit family and just loves it when they curl out turds on his lawn. Thanks for the inspiration, he'll love it.
 
Thought i'd give one of these a punt, didn't even know they existed!

£12.77 delivered from Ali Express - surprisingly comfortable! Didn't bother cutting the fabric and mounting it from the front as tightening the back bolts is more than enough to keep it sturdy.

@mrk Would you mind sharing the make and model for the SSD, enclosure and Pelicase? Would like to have my files backed up and your method sounds like a good start to research at least. :)
