Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

Needed a cheap tablet, not bad for £130.

Actually purchased back in November when they were 60% off, glad I bought it then as they are back to full price now. I built it when it arrived and has been stored in the garage since then. I haven't attached the little side tables so it looks a bit weird, but I won't use them as I have a wooden table I built for the Ooni that will sit next to it when I can be bothered to move it.

Probably a little while before it's warm enough to fire it up, but the sun today inspired me to get it out of the garage and into its new home. Will be nice using something like this after years of the little round £15 ones with only space for a couple burgers.

Bought this tablet for the GF for Christmas, she loves it. Perfect for media consumption.

I've been thinking about getting something to do reading on for uni. How suitable do you think this tablet is for that? I can read it all on my laptop, but it's nowhere near as convenient.

Mind messaging me where you got it for £130?

@R-evans might be just the picture but couldn't see the riving knife on the table saw. Whilst very common in US woodworking videos it's really quite dangerous to use a table saw without the riving knife. I friend of mine had life changing injuries using a table saw without one. Apologies if I'm telling you something you already know.

What do you reckon for reading? More about the screen than anything else I suppose

Well, it's glossy, not MicroLED like the iPad Pro, but the IPS screen is nice, colourful, 2k screen.

It will be like reading on your phone kind of experience (but not OLED of course, more like an iPhone XR).

Yea, it was taken off as I was using the table as a worktop a little while ago. It does need to go back on but I haven't used it a lot since then, although I have made a few quick cuts without it. I'll put it back on when I'm next tinkering in the garage.
