How well does it take a Warburtons? I'm guessing like my toaster, toast comes out looking like a spray tan with a t-shirt on.

Did a couple slices of pre cut sourdough last night on the old toasters settings and ended up enjoying thick crackers with marmite

Yeah, i think the tv backup is a great use, although with building up my new house to have an overspecced solar array with 20kwh battery storage it's probably not needed

Would be interesting to hear whether it loses charge/capacity when not used. I imagine that's the main risk here. Wanting to use it as backup, but then when that time comes you find it's dead itself!

I last used mine at Cosford airshow to power a minifridge, charged it just after and it still reckons its 100% I’ll give another good cycle soon.

I think the quality of your bread the issue. Fix that, then blame the toaster.

Some more bits have arrived. The rebuild is getting ever closer. In fact, today is respray the engine covers day. Noice. Here's a new screen, fairing bolt kit, oil filter and a couple of new gaskets.

These are a game changer! I chucked a random pci-e 3.0 550gb I had lying around in a £12 random ebay one of these, and it is stupid fast and makes transferring mass amounts of photos/videos from machine to machine a breeze.
Using a usb stick is laughable in comparison now.

I had something similar gifted to me last year. Wasn't impressed. The smaller Ferrero Rocher are much nicer IMHO.

We’ll see, I had the older version which was slightly different to this and enjoyed it so hopefully this is as nice.

espresso machine steam wand's do an excellent hot chocolate if you need to sell it to the other half ~ 50% of my use.

Wouldn't be hard to sell to her, in fairness. She is after a Jura of some sort.
