Ha, I'm in exactly the same boat! I used to build tons of stuff, now I look at everything and am a bit derp. Even started looking at pre-built Dell before I had a word with myself.
I've found a bit of light at the end of the tunnel. Out of the bits I've got to install I need to connect the radiator and fans to the top of the case for the CPU cooler then connect the case fans and ports to the motherboard. I'll have to pinch the dvd player from my current pc so I can install windows then it'll be wait on the GPU and main storage drive and I'll be done

DVD player on a modern PC?!?!
I downloaded Windows onto a USB from the MS website and booted from that. You can still use the same key you would with your DVD

It's only a dvd cos I couldn't be bothered typing out bluray on my phone this morning
still a relic these days though I guess!

Where did you pick up the desk if you don't mind sharing.Now that my Mac setup is done I’ve squeezed another desk into my small loft office for a new gaming PC build.
I'm looking for something similar for a retro area.

They changed the tubs a year or so ago and i’ve been trying to get one ever since. It was doing my head in pouring them into another tub then having to label it up for the flavour. I’d still like another 2 but they are back to not selling them and have a bit on the FAQ that they have no plans to sell them again.

Not as standard but I did pay for ports in the bedrooms including what will become my office. They all feed down to the living room next to the FTTP box.
