I wasn't leaning towards any brand tbh, I just wanted a decent dual setup and my neighbour works for an indepent tool specialist and this was the best offer they had on staff pricing.
Steroids? I thought it was cocaine.
Depending on what you use now, it is incredible how much these things have moved on. I went from a 2005 era DeWalt to a 2020 Milwaukee setup and it was shameful what I had been putting up with!

Dunno. I have still got some really old power tools and they are still very good. There are some, though, that have really moved on. Like circular saws for example. I only use them for cutting down large boards but that used to be a painful task until I picked up a new one with a track saw compatible base. Sheesh, what a time saver!
Milwaukee are certainly very good. I used to have one of their SDS drills, until it finally fell apart a few years ago, and a plane. I seem to remember I sold the plane on ebay. It was as old as the hills but still going strong. I did have one of their SDS drills but that ended in catastrophic failure!!

Yeah I was talking drills specifically but I recently binned a 20 year old circ saw as it was never going to be used again now I've got a brushless Milwaukee. And a Worx multi tool, altho that was seized up.
My previous was a Worx H3, I've still got it but I'm not sure how it compares to the Dewalt - I can't find a torque figure for it but the Dewalt impact driver goes up to 190nm

Looking thicc, tight, solid.With Burns Night on the way, I bought some haggis from my favourite online butcher. This huge 1.6kg beast was a tenner which is an absolute bargain as the usual 500g haggis are over a fiver each.

New light for my w/c. The old light was so dark looked like the "no spray no lay" man was gonna jump out the cupboard like a club toilet.
