i5 1.6ghz, 14" screen, 4gb ram and a Samsung EVO 250gb ssd hard drive in it the hard drive was added to it for £83.

recently done the same myself went from single core 2ghz celeron to i5 haswell at 1.6 (turbo up to 2.6ghz) 15inch 4gb ram and an entry level 720m gfx and usb 3 (it,ll max the first crysis plays the newest on low) 500euros which is around 350quid or so.

Going from a celeron to this is quite a jump. It's pretty fast!

Where did you get this from please? Seems well specced for the price.

Amazon. But the price has since gone up. I think they made a mistake. The cpu was listed as a generic i5. But I ordered in the offchance it was a 4th gen Intel anyways, and it was.

Stanstead currency exchange gave me 350 or so quid for 500 euro...obv exchanging there was unwise. I live in a very rural area, currency exchange places don't exist around here. I fly from a tiny 1 plane in/out airport that has no currency exchange. I'd have a 3 hour round trip north to Toulouse to find an exchange, or anything else of any significance.
