Depends who you buy from and what you buy.

Unlike Overclockers, eBay does have a nice large rep system where you can read comments from buyers have said about the seller and item. :p

There are certain things I would never buy from eBay, despite the rating system (I know about that, I too have 100% !). It's not unheard of with people buying dodgy Sandisk stuff or any memory cards, there are lots of fakes out there as he found out last week! I bet that seller has more than 0% as well.

That's read speed. Reading will always be fast. It's write speed that matters most. It's a Sandisk though so will be fast anyway but nowhere near the same as reading. 146MB/s sounds too high though...

146MB/s is actually pretty slow for that stick, I have the 16GB model and get this for read/write

His 32GB should have much faster writes than my 16GB model.

[edit]

Looks like it should be capable of 245MB/s read 100MB/s write

I just picked up the rx100, couldnt justify the extra money. Cracking little camera though. Tempted by the case, i did have to add the thumb grip, too slipperly otherwise.

Sadly I am pretty sure the official case won't fit with the thumb grip. I have the case on my Mk2 and would love the thumb grip as you are quite right about it being tough to keep a hold of.

Poor choice of USB sticks guys. I recently bought the Lexar S23 32GB, read speed of 100MB/s and 50MB/s write :) Not bad for £10 ;)

My 32GB Sandisk Extreme, bought in September 2012, used for both work and home pretty much every day since then. Just checked read/write speeds and they are just as good as when I first bought it:

When I bought it the speeds were advertised as much lower than this. Cost me £26.30.

Arrived today. Awesome game, and close to my heart as my grandad spent 3 years in Colditz. You just don't get board games with swaztikas on them in this day and age.

My missus has fond memories of playing this with her grandad when she was younger. Everywhere i've seen it for sale though has bits missing or if it doesn't.. is extortionate!

May I ask where you got it and how much of those fine english pounds you paid?

Sounds good :D

I picked one up a few weeks ago, haven't really used it yet. Are you just using the standard desktop mount that comes with it, or have you got another mount? I'm thinking that I should probably get a damped one, so that it doesn't pick up vibrations from the desk etc?

I'm thinking of an arm one I can clamp to the back of the desk so I can move it out of the way and just swing it in front of me when I want to use it.

I also need to get a pop shield.
