Had this arrive earlier :) Twin Peaks Blu-ray boxset. It's one of my favourite shows so I'm looking forward to an evening of twin peaks in HD.

How much did the bike build cost you snapdragon?

When you say budget bike, how much are we talking here? Looks awesome.

Edit: As above :o

Cheers fellas.

It's a mix of new and pre owned which is fine if you know what you're looking for, here's a quick breakdown.
* denotes new parts

  • Frame - £99*
  • Forks - £45
  • Wheels - £80
  • Tyres/Grips - £20*
  • Groupset (chain,cassette,shifters,derailleurs,brakes,bars) £77
  • Disc Rotors £20*
  • Seatpost 0.99p :-)
  • Seat collar £2.00*
  • Saddle Free ( in my spares bin )
  • Chainset + Bottom Bracket £72*
  • Stem £6.20
  • Headset £11.00*

Cost to build £433.19, I also cleared a lot of my older kit I had knocking around, this raised £278 towards the build cost.

snapdragon, where did you get the fram from for £99? and do they do a 29er version?

Hi,

Picked it up from Planet X - On One's website, I usually take a nosey on there daily as there's some pretty good offers, they had limited stock as they'd picked them up from a defunct italian bike Co called SAB, think there was around 40 but they went pretty quick when word went around, if it's any consolation they only had 26" versions.

Some new headphones and a headphone stand. It was hard work trying to find a desk mounted stand like this, there is hardly any choice and these are like £30 in the Uk so I had to order from Germany.

Fair enough, i'll keep an ear to the ground, I live pretty close to the Barnsley & Sheffield PlanetX shops and a friend works in one of them. My Scott Aspect frame is starting to show its age and the torrent of abuse thats been thrown at it since I bought it

I got the same stand, pricey for what it is - but it works! :D

I got this from a German site for around £20 inc del which i didn't think was too bad. It was a lot smaller than I was expecting, but fits the headphones perfectly and is a nice neat solution.
