It's just a bit of light heartedness. No need to get offended on behalf of someone else.

Dewalt is one of the highest recommend drill is it not? Under makita.

They're on par with Makita if not better in some cases. A lot of the cheap Makita drills are geared too slow imo.

It's just the Nicad batteries that are not very good. They dont like to be left discharged and have a memory effect, so they need to be fully depleted and then fully charged. Li-ion are much better and not much more money these days.

Still looks to be a decent drill and has a useful drive/drill speed.

I've got exactly the same drill, had it for about 6 years and i've never had a problem with it, i've done decking with it, flat roofing, built a summer house and all sorts of odd jobs, it's done me fine.

I have no doubt about that :). Dewalt are awesome tools, I'm still using my 18v jiggly saw and mains drill that must be 8 years old now and I use them every day in my job and at home.

Almax Immob 3 and the squire lock they recommend for it.

I've had it on CD for Years!, My Wife bought me the New Version and the DVD of the Stage Show the other Christmas (2012)... Not as good as the Original, Lliam Neason doesn't have the same presence as Richard Burton, and no one sounds like David Essex!! But it's worth it for some of the updated verisons of the Songs!!

And Thunderchild is probably my favorite too!!

Though the Re-Mixes of The Eve of the War are quite good too!! :)

Saw the live version in Glasgow couple of years ago - was really good visually but the remixed version missed a lot of the pace and energy of the original and throwing in some dubstep riffs here and there to be down with the kids was a bit crap
