Must be someone that's importing them already so you don't have to pay for the customs, some of the supplies are definitely available here.

2x Alestorm tickets.

I introduced my younger brother to Alestorm. He emailed me several months back about how he had to go to a party with his missus and he wasn't looking forward to it as he didn't know anyone. I got an email the following day saying how he hadn't known anyone at the party, but got talking to a fella about music and found out they both liked Alestorm, they both got very drunk together, took over the music, played only Alestorm and sang along to all the songs together ****ing off everyone else at the party. I just sent him the following gif as a response.

As for what I've bought.... several boxes of lemsip. Got the nastiest cold ever. Back of my nose and roof of my mouth feels like sandpaper.

You can buy all the Tamiya tools from the UK (Amazon etc), why would you import them over from Japan?

How come you are importing craft tools?

Masking tape /tweezers?

Sure, you can buy them here but the prices are 50% more, for example if I was to buy the HG Tweezers, it would cost £10+ while from HLJ it was just under £5, same goes for the knife which is twice the cost. The biggest difference in price would be the long nose bending piliers which I have seen for £17 to £25 while they cost £9 from HLJ.

Then there is the whole availability issue, some of these things wasn't even available at one site or was sold out when I ordered. It's true that the customs charge did knock some of my savings off by importing them but it was more convenient to order them from one store that I use often, I also had the advanage of saving on the shipping since I had these bundled with Kaga.

There is some items that is crazy to import, I wanted the Tamiya A3 size cutting mat but the shipping price was ridiculous, it was like a extra £15 or more.

I did spend a few weeks googling everything to make sure that I couldn't get anything cheaper from places. I could had saved a lot by buying cheap stuff from eBay, but I see these things as investments since they will last for many years.

Some Ultimate Ears UE900 IEMs.
So many accessories! iPhone cable with control and mic, normal cable, loads of different ear cushions including Comply Foam brand, Airline attenuator for when you plug in on a plane and get deafened even on the lowest volume (brilliant!), travel bag and hard case.
Four drivers (two low, one mid and one high) per ear and they sound amazing!

Also booked my flights for Florida at the end of the month :p

Love Ultimate ears :) Got some of their UE9000 and UE600's and both work amazingly well, also got a pair of the UE6000's for my sister.

Shame they don't seem to do the cheaper ones anymore :(

Yeah, been using UE earphones for years now and remain loyal even though they were bought out. It is either the UE 900 or their custom moulded range now that Logitech runs them, I was very tempted to go custom but the hassle of getting ear moulds made put me off this time.

Some good deals to be had on anything that is discontinued if you can find stock.

Yup, I got my 9000's when they first came out for around $300! Money well spent imo, though when I got my sisters I saw they were down to $150 :( and the 6000's only cost around £80 :D

Should've really got an extra pair :(

Found an old Ducti wallet in a drawer which I traded in for a new one and also bought a braided cable to hook my Sansa Clip Zip in to the car head unit.

Technically I didn't pay for this with money, but my girlfriends father interviewed Bruce Dickinson and managed to get me a autograph.

But I'm guessing I'm going to have to pay back the misses somehow ;)

I actually bought these Lindt Pralines for a B&G I did a shoot for recently but felt I'd worked hard and deserved them more than they did.

I got them a much much bigger box instead  :D
