I'm seriously becoming enraged by these increasingly ridiculous blur-fests from people that are either excellent trolls or have spent more on photographic equipment than their talents merit, and I don't really care which because both reasons are enough for me to hate you.
I've got one but I didn't pay anything near that much - it is a good investment. That and a lacross ball too to get all the tight spots, and thick muscle areas (like glutes).
An alternative which works well and is very cheap is some PVC pipe. You can get off cuts for free if you want!
So it's a good investment, but an alternative is some free PVC pipe?
(Don't ban me).

Well, I meant that it's not a waste of money as it's a little less harsh than a PVC pipe and does massage really well. A pvc pipe is fine for fleshy parts of the body, unlike that roller which can be used a little more easily everywhere without having to unleash every curse word available!
