Nice, I'm trying to decide on a new phone, this or a Samsung Galaxy alpha.....can't decide :(

Well from my perspective, I have own, and used many, many android phones as well as doing development work on a few too.

I have to say the Z3 is a lovely piece of kit, it feels so well made and classy. From my personal view, you would not be looking at that sort of build quality from the likes of Samsung.
Having said that, I have just moved from a Nexus 5, and the screen colors are better without having to fiddle around with the kernel. Battery life, just wow, I thought the likes of the M8 are good, the Z3 is on a whole new level.

I can send some battery stats, but only through trust so we don't derail the thread. :)

But all in all, the Z3 all day long! :)

EDIT: the only thing I miss as of now is root support, but an exploit is needed to do it without the bootloader unlock.

Headphone amp / DAC to drive my new headphones:

Logitech K800. I wanted a Corsair K70 RGB mechanical but couldn't justify the cost right now.

This replaces a Sidewinder X4, which I found awful for typing on. The K800 is so much better.

I moved away from Logitech after realising they removed the property key in favour of their lame FN key.

Such a shame, but I can't live with out the property key.

Looks like a very nice keyboard... out of interest, would you consider it a "noisey" keyboard to use?

Reason i'm asking is looking to replace my aging crappy basic MS keyboard with a closer match to my Logitech mouse.

Terrible pics but Its late and I only have my phone.

Brought a new case but think I've over done the radiator and I don't think its all going to fit! Face palm!

(Not the components I building with, just needed to eye up the RAD im using with an ATX board)

One is plastic with a bit of metal, the other is all metal and glass. One has 2 days battery life, the other doesn’t. One is waterproof and dustproof, the other isn’t. One is a discreet skin overlay, closer to stock, the other is a world apart.

Can you guess which is why yet? :p

Sammy traitor

I was thinking of getting a Note 4 because I've never tried a SONY phone before. :p

Lovely keyboard, I have the same at home for a couple of years now and always like using it!.

Any signs of wear and tear after using it for a couple of years? Is there anything I need to be on the lookout for?

Is there no way to reconfigure the keys to give you property key functionality?

I find the K800 to be really quiet. Especially if you don't hammer the keys when typing. Even if you do, it's still quiet.
