That's how you lose them. I hate when you can hear someone's cash/keys bouncing around in their pocket, and I like to be able to just grab my wallet, phone, and keys and walk out of the house, no coin discovery journey.

Completely agree with mrk :P. I have a cardholder myself which has a wrap around for notes/other cards etc. I've always put any coins in a coin pocket and hate the bulk of coin pockets in wallets!

I do want to add to my collection with other wallets (particularly a bifold) though! :D Don't see me ever getting one with a coin pocket... ;)

Will see how it pleases or annoys over the next few weeks :p

Main reason for getting this was over the years I've found very few leather wallets I actually like. The Fossil one I have been using up until today is great but it's big and once all my cards are in it's very bulky. I just wanted to be able to store my cards, have a notes wrap and be able to store maybe a couple of receipts or tickets on one side but not have the bulk - This appears to be able to do that so far but time will tell if it's just form over function or form and function :p

Yeah that's also the thing, loads of wallets in the various factory outlets here at work and many styles/types. I looked at the card holder wallets in the stores that have note wraps or those lever things that clamp down to hold notes in place. Lots of fine leather ones too that looked and felt great but none of them held all my cards and things like this. If it turns out to be a bit pooh then it will simply get added to the small collection or sold on eBay, seems people are buying them and because I got it off Massdrop I should not lose any money on it :cool:

How many cards does that one hold? Looks like it's designed for a certain thickness only?
 
There is a reason leather bi fold wallets are still around and sold in their thousands.

You could have just used a decent elastic band for the same result with that.
 
No an elastic band would not have worked.

How do I know? Already tried. Just snags every time you slide the card "stack" up/down.

I got this after days of weighing up pros and cons, it wasn't some random impulse buy!
 
Pfft. Like I said, If I find something to be pap I will just sell it on and make my money back :p

We can sit here and argue all day on the internet about what might not work in the real world but until you try it, you can't say for sure!

Is this another Kickstarter project? I keep seeing these kind popping up, the latest one I saw made from wood with a little bit holding coins even, i thought that was well cool until I realise the way I use wallets, a hard edge wallet is a PITA !

I also think having to fold your notes neatly before putting it in is a waste of time. You get money from the cashpoint, they come out flat. You open your wallet, it goes in. Fold wallet, and folds the notes for you ! Like magic :p

The cards thing, stacking them on top...I like to see what I am getting out before pulling it out without getting out more than 1 card at a time.

That elastic head band looking thing will get loose over time as well and the whole thing will become less secure.

This is where tried and tested wins, leather wallet. simple, elegant, last forever.
 
The only card holder thing I've seen on there I like is one that is like a posh cigarette holder. It slides open and your cards are on a sliding mechanism showing you them so you can pick easily etc. It's also watertight, anti NFC, shockproof etc.
