Finally new htpc turned up, they included a uk plug, but it actually comes with both an EU and uk lead. Had to get it from Germany as couldn't find a UK stocker.

Had the SP3 for a month, now have the keyboard. :)

It is the new dark blue colour.

Much improved over the old version, the second position really strengthens the desk. Trackpad is now usable.

Freebie holdall too, quick look on eBay and it goes for £26. No interest in these freebies at all so will likely put it on there for some profit

I had the same mouse as you previously and also upgraded that to the MX Performance, love it!

I'm liking it so far. Taking a bit of getting used to the new shape, size and button placement but after 6 years with one mouse that's to be expected. It does feel far smoother, I can definitely notice the benefit of the higher DPI. Being able to charge it while using it is the biggest benefit.

Only thing I don't like so much is that the free-scrolling wheel is now selectable with a button instead of auto-sensing as on the MX Revolution. Was quite nice being able to have it spin freely when you scroll quickly, but I'll get used to that.

Mine is on permanent free spin

How do you manage with freespin in games though? There's no ratchet so mid intense fighting you might want to select the Fire Axe to burn a sucker down but instead the wheel moves an extra notch and you end up selecting the flare gun.

Precious milliseconds man, they are the difference between winning and losing!

probably going to catch hell for these:

I slept 5 hours each way to Cape town (vs ~20min to Dubai last month) so totally worth it imho - sound is just about ok but the noise suppression is so much better than anything else...
Only issue was they were so damn loud with BA's crappy inflight entertainment, need some kind of inline volume controler...

I never use freespin on my G700s, I tried it but spinning the wheel and ending up at a random place on a webpage wasn't for me.

I didn't like it at first, but also didn't like how the ratchet felt so went back to freespin. I now much prefer the free spin to the click wheel on my MX518 at work (supper smooth scrolling ftw). Need to change back to ratchet if playing a game though as it is too sensitive at changing weapons.

Oh I see...mad. Glad it's working for you, they could have put the volume control on the huge box though!

The battery compartment is near the 3.5mm jack end of the wire so that you can shove it in your pocket with your phone/music player. The volume controls sit around your neck.

They're very expensive headphones but the noise cancellation is amazing. I've got a pair and they make my commute much more pleasant. I always forget to switch them off after use though and they're sometimes dead the next morning. :(
