How much was the block of wood?
I was tweaking the saddles/bridge and have been using pillows on the sofa previously...thought I get a neck rest.
I think it was like £10? It's not perfect though, it's bare at the bottom so it was quite slippery on another wood surface, but not a problem as I stuck on some rubber feet I have spare from some pedals.

500GB isn't much use for internal, I've got 3x1TB drives (plus an SSD) at the moment but looking to change to 2x3TB soon so I can use my DVD drive again as I've only got 4 SATA ports.
Funnily enough another pristine one was arrived at work today (full price though, £12.50) so I might grab it as well though I've no real use for it!

I thought I worded that well....originally it was "wood on wood contact was quite slippery so I added some rubber feet".

I just had a look and your right
Am guessing it came off the microfibre duster I was using to clean all the dust build up that was on the shelf under my old AV amp which I then used to swipe the front of the new AV amp with before taking the photo....
