What exactly does using performance mode on a mouse do?
 
Increases polling rate, increases sensor response. In turn this also increases battery drain, but 8 weeks in gaming mode is very good from a single AA. Previous generations would get a couple of days of similar use in the highest performance mode. It's not just for gaming, in photo editing the finer tracking sensitivity helps too when tracing layers and working with adjustment brushes.

Normal mode is fine for desktop use, from my usage experience I can expect months of use if I was only using it for browsing and stuff.

Did you get these from eBay? I think I have these... They weren't cheap, but also weren't horrifically expensive. They are actually really nice, but the drivers side mat has begun to wear out where your heels go. :(

Since you have an M3 this begs the question, did I overspend on my mats, or have you been cheap? :p

I just used the ATG website!

..and be quick as Wed is the only day which has a decent selection of seats. Friday has 4-5 seats remaining and Thursday 20-30 ish!
