Nene Valley Audio Cube 2 speakers with oak stands from Custom AV
Why these speakers? Never seen anything like it before.

This explains the reason for the design: http://www.nvahifi.co.uk/cube-2-loudspeakers. They are a development of the original cube speaker design pioneered by Roy Allison.
I auditioned 5 pairs of speakers in the £1000 - £2000 bracket a few weeks ago and the Cubes destroyed everything. It wasn't even close. In fact, the only speakers to get any where near the clarity, separation, tight and well controlled bass and vivid soundstage of the Cubes was the Neat SX1 floorstanders which retail for £2000; twice the price of the Cubes.
They are ridiculously good.

That's true, these will go for at least £5 at a boot fair in about 3 years

Do you trip over the TV/stand every time you walk into the room?
the one in the doorway? that was just from old TV and had just moved it there while putting new one in, it's now in the garage
the doorway is to the front side of that door

They're a very good cooler! My fans run very quietly and never goes above 60c when gaming.
