I normally use Avis, as I'm "preferred plus" or whatever and they bump me up a level and I get avios, but from LHR I've used Thrifty 3 times now. It's a bit of a ballache getting the mini bus there, but their fleet is well impressive!

They get a load of BMWs in and had I looked in to it more, they have; M1s, M3s, M4s, M5s, M6s! I said I'd take out the M4 next, he was like nah, take the M6, the thing is a beast. I'm back in April, I might see what they have in stock :p

I had talked myself out of it as well but woke up next day and launched safari on my iphone and that came up again, still in stock so thought "i have 3 weeks to renew my Wasps season ticket, why not" :D

LOL, I can beat that - when I had the Evo I went to B&Q and bought a leaf blower - at checkout the person said to me "going to be clearing up your garden today?" I told her it was for drying my car so I didn't have to overuse microfibre cloths which cause small scratches to the paintwork.

She thought I was having her on until I swapped it for another as I said it would be too loud when I was using it early in the morning as it was the best time in the summer to wash a black car so as not to leave watermarks - she must have thought I was bonkers.
