Being fed up with music in the golf seriously lacking, I went and got a little underseat sub and fitted the headunit i've had for about 6 months.
I'm well surprised how good it sounds.
Looks pretty neat too!
what's the model of the sub? what sort of size is it?
Im looking to put one in the old b5 avant but want it to go in where the original one would have sat.
Ive also got a Pioneer headunit but went for a DEH-X9500BT mainly as the 2 USB ports are to the rear I hate seeing them on the front of the unit
Ive got the phone cable plugged in and coming up inside the ash tray and have a usb extension coming up inside the centre console coin tray that I can plug my USB stick into

Bought a flashy new camping light that doesn't blind you beyond the immediate bulb range, has great range and it is very descrete to people far away or animals, as it is single wavelength light. Waterproof and works at 0.4W too!
Also purchased one of these beauties from the US:
Waterproof, wind-proof (literately completely wind-proof), no gas, no fluid, no flint, no flame!
Just rechargeable USB!
Pricey for a lighter but 5 year guarantee and one you needn't buy wick/flint/fluid/gas for. Love my Zippos but cotton eventually needs replacing as well as everything else. The upkeep is annoying not because of the costs of replacement but rather when it cuts out you are screwed, if i charged my lighter with my phone every so often, itl never cut out!
Also recently bought the large Gas Cobb for the garden so my coal one is exclusively for slow bbq/roasting and fishing/camping. Pic of that when i get home. Will show it next to the other one to give an idea of the size. Could not argue s i got it for £40!

I'll find the model when I get home. It's 6x9 square sized.
I never use USB ports and the CD player is useless so I was happy with just blue tooth and radio.
I would definitely recommend it!

yea mines has the Bluetooth as well. like you its mostly on the radio but when im up north and no signal on the radio the USB dongle comes in handy
