COmparison videos on youtube showed them to be identical in spec pretty much with small differences in video picture quality. The SJ4000 has stepped metering when moving from dark to light it seems whereas the GoPro is smooth. Not a huge issue for most uses I guess but some may prefer the smoother metering. Picture quality on both seems sharp and crisp at 1080P. 720P on the SJ is a bit garbage though.

For £80 or so, it's a bargain by comparison. Beware of fake sjcams though!

Almost all GoPro mounts/bits work on the SJ cams. Same system.

60-80 quid! Oh my.

The GoPro4 still struggles with big light changes, and 4k...I don't tend to use it. I tend to use 1080 with a higher frame rate so I can do more with the output.

Hmmm.

I've always thought these little things are cool but I can't think of a reason or place where i could use it. Except filming myself playing guitar but nobody should have to suffer that !

Are those real images? They look like they've been drawn in 3D :p Lovely car btw. :)

WANT! Oh my. I love my travel photography/video (for my own enjoyment, not pretending it's any good). Can't help thinking this would add something! Can you get hard back plane cases I wonder?

Yeah I am going to get a Peli case for it which is waterproof/dustproof/bus proof. That will set me back another £200 though. Worth it as I am going away in the summer and intend on taking the P4 with me.

We've all had that moment when you just can't resist, well I stumbled across Sopwith's Solo Flight and just had to have him:

It's by Peter Fagan who produced the Colour Box Cats in the 80/90s.

And now booked the house to go with it!

Very nice, I am very close to hitting the purchase button on one of these. I'd love to take it on my trip to Canada this summer.
