Bought a house which means I can justify buying new furniture DIY & gadgets.

Bosch Rotak 37 LI Mower, Bosch ART 30-36 Strimmer, Dewalt DCZ298C2 and 100 piece drill bit set, screwdriver set, tape measure, DAB radio and a set of spirit levels. Couple of other bits are the girls. Eyeing up a cordless Dyson vacuum which I'll probably pick up at the end of the week or next.

Furniture shopping at the weekend so more money to be spent yet. We don't move in until the end of May so using this kitchen as storage.

Nice drill and impact set, I have the very same.

Your'e going to need some impact bits for the driver though, I have an Erbauer set bought from Screwfix.

They are indeed. Tungsten points for arrow shafts in the first picture

They slide down inside the shaft and click into place.

Not quite. They don't click into place. They are glued into the shaft (with hot melt). The ridges you see are breakoff locations. Each notch is 10 grains worth of weight. The point starts off at 120 grains, but can be reduced by breaking the lumps off.

Got two mice:

Felt the G900 was the better one of the two, even though the MX Master is really good. The MX is much more ergonomic in the hand though, the G900 has to cater to lefty freaks :(

:p

I've always been tempted to get one of those MX because of the Ergonomics but wasn't sure if it would be suitable as i play mostly FPS.

I currently have a G500s

I've been using a variation of the MX for the past 5-6 years and they've always been great comfort wise. I originally bought an MX1100R which was replaced under warranty for a Performance MX... which was replaced again for another Performance MX, which is now having a slight issue with double clicking when it shouldn't.

Logitech kit isn't the best for longevity but their support is fantastic, if they replace it again with an MX Master I might switch to a G602 or G900 though.

They are great for FPS games, my Battlefield and TF2 headshot count is evidence of this :p Generally speaking, even the non "gaming" models are great for gaming, even if they're only 500 reports/sec polling rate. I'm not a competitive gamer though.

that mouse looks gorgeous haha

How is the MX Master compared to the Performance MX mrk? IIRC you've had one before.

It's quite a bit more premium in the palm with a few more features. The thumb wheel returns from the MX Revolution which is neat.

The problem with the MX Master though, is the mouse wheel rattles due to the automatic clutch system, and the wheel cannot be pressed left or right for side scrolling like you can on the G900 and other mice.

Also the G900 has surface tuning so you can finetune it for your mouse surface.

IMO the G602 is a better choice over the MX Master. The 602 battery lasts a couple of months from a single AA (it can hold 2xAA), and has more buttons to customise. It's also cheaper. But it has one flaw, the middle mouse button starts to fail after a year or so. I have had 2 602s now. Also no side scrolling with the mouse wheel.

The flaws I noticed are all things normal reviews didn't tend to mention online. So as is usually the case I just buy whatever I might be interested in and return whatever doesn't quite cut it :p

I have the G502 Proteus Core and I still love that satisfying feeling as you click the free-spin button and set the wheel a-spinning. Well, that and the handy ability to scroll horizontally in documents and images.

Cheers mrk, I never really use the side scroll feature anyway so that's not a concern. Thanks for the input :)

I've used Logitech MX mice for years, but really didn't get on with the shape of the master. Make sure you buy from somewhere with a decernt return policy ;)

I find mice a bit like snooker cues. You know the way a snooker player freaks out if he breaks his cue because no matter how many he tries or uses, they never feel right. I'm the same with mice. I've had my Logitech G9x for years and I reckon I will use it until it either breaks or we get mind control input devices.
