I think they see themselves as more anti the proliferation of dangerous security information for the mutual benefit of the "computer security" industry and "white hat" hackers.

So basically some whitehat finds an exploit and tells the security industry as well as leaking it into the wild under their principle of full disclosure. He gets a nice gratuity from Norton et al and they get to sell more product as the news hits about yet another exploit, worm or whatever.

Apparently these guys don't like that. Not. One. Bit.
 
I started using TinyPic a while back, haven't used ImageShack for a while but it used to be horrendously slow to upload or download images.

What a load of rubbish though. If that was the case, Linux/open source software wouldn't be one of the most secure OSs on the planet :p Share and share alike. More eyes make better code etc. Why on earth keeping exploits a secret would help security I don't know?
