Immaculate - but a list of flaws

Why do people do this? Highligh that something is immaculate yet then move onto "the bad bits". Maybe a scratch on the rear bumper, a cracked fog light. Isn't the whole point of something being immaculate that there are no flaws?

Just an observation having started looking for a new car!

Just like the million people who advertise a BMW/AUDI "SPORT" which is clearly NOT a sport. I hate misadvertisement. Unfortunately, it is rife on the 'trader ;)

I once went to see a car that was " mint " ( half the door cards were missing, clutch pedal didn't have the rubber bit on it, just a rag  )

It was apparently " smoking a little because it hadn't been started for a week or two ", and that would explain why I thought the rear window had misted up but it actually turned out to be smoke from the exhaust that was so bad that the car behind us had to come to a standstill and wait for us to drive off :o

Or when an add reads as following

Totally standard ........

Apart from exhaust , induction kit , wheels bla bla bla

Yes thats something else that annoys me.

How about when things are labelled as a "show car" when it has different alloys :p

I hate spelling errors in car adverts.
Looking for a prelude on ebay today:
It had a small chip on the off-side "doar"
Consistently used "thear" instead of "there"
Etc

Makes it look so unprofessional, how long does it seriously take to run something through a spell-checker?

Nearly as annoying as people who advertise their car as having v-tec, or vtech:mad:

I say death to anyone caught advertising an Alpha Romeo.

And death to complete idiots who don't even now what type of car they're selling, I did once see an add for a Ford Cavalier
