Immortals: Fenyx Rising

I suppose this is the closest I’ll get to having a “Breath of the Wild” experience as that is what it looks like to me. I like the idea of you being able to just go off and explore wherever you like.

Yes! I totally forgot about that. I guess they should have fixed all the teething issues, like being unable to cancel, by now.
 
Views from those that have tried it seem to be along the lines of okay if you want a more cartoon, dumbed down version of AC Odyssey with BOTW graphics and straight up ripped off puzzle elements.

Will probably avoid unless the reviews are stellar.
 
To me, it also looks like a clone of Fortnite, aesthetics-wise. Maybe they will announce a BR mode at some point. :D
 
Review scores are quite high but a bit up and down - the YT reviewers seem to think its a much better game than the likes of IGN or Eurogamer - which is strange as its usually the opposite.
 

ACG was so enthusiastic about the game during his review that he forgot to rate it :p

Does seem to be an odd one on the reviews front. Plenty of reviewers are gushing over it. Others are giving it 3/4/5/6 out of 10. Bizarre. I'm looking forward to it regardless. May as well enjoy it while it lasts; really can't see it selling well, so chances of a sequel happening seem slim.
 
I still want to get this game, but think I'll wait until the price has dropped. Not long until CP2077 which I'm sure will keep me occupied for a while.
 
Played through the demo a few times now, the narrative is really well done, combat is cool, and the art style is really nice. The only reason I'm not buying it at release is Cyberpunk..

Ill look at picking up down the line
