It wsa quite difficult to catch the moment, especially as i wanted to use the flash as well to help freeze the moment so that meant only one frame could be taken (sigma flashes are slooooow). No fancy trigger setup either unfortunatly, just a matter of practice.
For anyone interested in having a go I found the best way to judge the timing is to actually close your eyes and just fire slightly after you throw. I found trying to do it by sight would always result in firing too slow. I also learnt that when using this method you should remove anything breakable from the room first!

First time i think i have replied to you posts i think, but you seem to have a natural ability to produce excellent images, the macro thread you made was awesome, these imo are not as good are still great and must be very hard to capture and after a few drinks on a friday afternoon enough to make me say keep up the great work
