<<<<< IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING R9 290X BF4 PRE-ORDERS / DEPOSITS!! >>>>>

do they reply to emails?

Of course they do. I speak them through a direct contact. - The public emails will be spammed at the moment, as you can imagine they are receiving thousands of emails. And some of you have been emailing more than once, which actually slows the queuing process for other people, so actually you are making the support slower for each other!

They have replied to me already, they are looking into it ASAP.

Yep we're all too impatient!! :)

BUT should I be raising a ticket with AMD? (At the moment I haven't as I assumed this to be a widespread problem and a bulk fix would be inbound!!?)

p.s. Many thanks for your efforts (unfair to be caught in the middle I know!)

Thanks

I emailed them once when I received my card and put the code and didn't receive the origin code from them

I have pointed them to this thread, they will let me know. I can only advise to keep trying, maybe they are just trying to fix it, I have no idea until they tell me. :)

Totally poor service from AMD just talking to someone from EA at the moment to see if they can help me

edit** no luck from EA

If someone told me i would eventually get a 30 quid rebate, i'd pay the 40 bloody quid for Battlefield so i can play it tonight. I have plans for about the next week, i'd really looked forward to launch night.

I appreciate there are bigger problems in the world, but still.

Hahaha. Thanks AMD. I was undecided but mines deffo going back now.

Yeah , got the same email, its a bit of a joke really, and i imagine AMD will do next to nothing to compensate for the **** up either.

Problems i can understand , it happens , crap customer service i do not.

I guess the *Limited* edition means quite literally limited to no BF4 key ... poor...

Let me put it this way, you paid a premium for the *BF4 edition*, and whilst its in no way OCUK's fault i'm sure they will do everything they can to resolve this issue. At worst i imagine you'll have the BF4 code credited from your refund , or you'll lose the difference betweek the BF4 edition and the standard edition. As i said just give them a call.

Dont think that will work tbh, seen as you will receive a key at some point.

And regards returning it, that ain't gona work as the code has been "redeemed"(kinda) as I seem to remember reading the returns policy thingy.

The problem is it isn't OCUK's fault. I'd be happy to pay a premium for BF4, i just thought this was the easiest way of getting it. So tempted to just buy it now and give my key to a friend (if i ever get it), but it seems like such a waste of money (and it offends my principles).

To be honest, this is probably EAs fault, if i had to pick. They should do *something*, as it's naughty. It's not like this is a freebie, we have paid extra for it.

Well, i went a bought a key - i feel like a dirty impatient westerner, but not being able to play for a week was a bit much. I'm going to be so busy with work shortly, this weekend was earmarked for a bit of Battlefield. I hope we get some recompense from someone.
