Oh. I really enjoyed the member's market here - I've lost access and have been around on these forums from time to time for a long time. Guess I'm not far off the requirements. A few posts to go before I can find out how much my old PC is worth to sell it!
That's not really the point. I had browsed much more recently but not purchased.
Kind of is the point, read the last 20 or so replies.

Rules are rules I guess, but being a member for 3 months and having 1000 posts is more important than being a member for several years and 500 posts. They could be 500 very in depth and valuable posts, they could be 500 posts helping others out.
Some guy can come in, hit his three month membership and theoretically gain access after the 180th day, just posting garbage, it’s very poor in my opinion but apart from sharing an opinion why we think it’s poor we just have to suck it up.
I‘d imagine the MM has been hit hard by this too. My downfall is I was a huge lurker, I enjoyed reading the threads and only wanted to comment if it was actually adding value.

Lol I used to love having access for browsing/tyre kicking, despite being way below post count. It was seriously funny being on there with about 300 posts but having a membership spanning back years.
Seriously though, I'm really not bothered. I only used to lurk there anyway, just as I lurk most places on this forum.
Once upon a time I sold some unneeded bits and had great feedback. That was heart warming
I also bought some desperately needed bits. That wasn't so great from my perspective. I said nothing at the time, just sucked it up. It was old tech, could have given out at any time etc...

Unless you meet the 15/90 rule the MM won’t show.
Did you not read the massive announcement that was posted in the MM months ago??
Can i assume thats 15 posts in 90 days? ive tried searching for the rules but all i can see is that its 1000 posts. I was literally looking at it yesterday, noticed this morning it had gone and just assumed it may be being worked on.
I honestly cant say i spend much time in there, i have a quick glance a once or twice a week

But yes you assumption is correct. Once you’ve done the 15 posts in a 90 day period the MM will reappear within an hour of the 15th post.

Fair enough cheers, I have been more of a lurker recently just with how quiet hardware in general has been, I cant say I like to post just for the sake of it.
