Very good or pleasant; excellent.
hero:
A person, typically a man, who is admired for their courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities.
A female version would be called a heroine.
Therefore my considered conclusion is that the plural of super hero is:
Superheroes:
"lots of pleasant, courageous men"
Make of that what you will, haha
