Importing a car form the US?

The dollar seems to keep dropping and dropping. It is starting to become very attractive to import a LHD (I live in Prague) car for use in Europe.

I am looking 06/07 Caymans / CaymanS which seem to be going for around 50 to 55 000 dollars. I can probably avoid the tax here in the Czech republic so is there any major reasons not to?

I dont know much about it to be honest, but I would have thought the main drawback would be the wait and the hassle. other than that sounds like a good deal.

Yup now is a great time to import stuff. Hotrodders are literally raping the Summit warehouse of stock and more race engines are being brought in than ever before. So WATCHOUT hot hatches and rice rockets, hotrods are back in town
