Will a Mac Pro work if I import one from the USA?

Will I need to get anything additional ?

Anyhelp much appreceiated!

It will work, however as far as I know the warranty is not valid outside of the US.

If you are going to buy it on apple in the states or another company in the states and get it shipped over. Save your breath as they won't do it. Apple have a policy in place explicitly restricting it.

get apple care. How are you gonna get it into the UK though? A laptop is one thing, you can't exactly pass off a mac pro as something you lug around the world.

You could get it shipped to a US address, then ship it from there..

However, you'd need to get it shipped and that might not be easy if you don't know anyone in the US, and customs will be all over the package once it tries to leave the US.

Easier to save your money and buy when you can afford or just use HE discount ORRR buy a MBP ;)
