importing a psp????? help

ok i want to import a psp, but from where? what country is the cheapest? which countries can i import from to still be able to use UK psp games etc.?
anyone know any good websites for this?

Sorry to if I sound ignorant but why do you want to import one when they are freely available in the UK, with some pretty damn nice bundles available as well?

Not when you get stung for import duty you dont.

ah yea you still save a lot loads of people i know importing in them for half price. but i wanted to know what country was the cheapest

Thats all fine but expect to pay an additional 33% on top of that price as a result of import duty and charges.

There is also the warranty issue.

Say you get a unit with a few dead pixels.

If you've purchased it from a UK high street store, simply walk in an get the unit exchanged.

Imported from Europe and you'll have send emails, wait for replies, pay for insured delievery so it get theres with proof of postage (expensive). All this takes a long time.

yea fair enough but it is the same if you buy one of a UK website you will still have to send plenty of emails etc

I looked into this earlier this week before purchasing mine from GAME. I found that the deals on the commonly used websites are about the same as the high street if not worse. The best deal I found was in GAME. I think that this may be due to Sony fixing the price or something. Plus as the chap mentioned above - anything wrond with it you just walk in and get a new one.

of course I didn't try all sites, but the main ones.
