hi guys

got a new windows tablet and must admit edge runs much better on it than chrome so I want to use it but can I for the life of me work out how to import my chrome bookmarks.

I've tried the fave bar and import bookmarks after I have exported the chrome ones but edge won't allow me to custom select the chrome bookmarks and only shows a internet explorer tab to import from ie

I can't imagine why anyone would want to use edge but hey ho.

In Chrome, go to bookmarks and bookmark manager. Click "Organise" and then click export bookmarks as html file. Then import the file into Edge.

Not sure if the below feature is in the general release as I use the Insider builds but you can also try this:

In Edge, click the three dots top right. Click settings. Under "Favorite Settings", click "View favourite settings". Under "Import", tick Chrome. Then click import.

that's exactly what I did but the chrome tab does not show to click only the ie one

Well in that case, you can use IE to import them from the HTML file you created in my first comment, then use Edge to import from IE. Slightly convoluted but that's ms browsers.
