Importing PS3 games.

I'm looking at Movietyme for purchasing some PS3 games, a lot of the games use NTSC, or basically aren't UK versions. Will it still work on my UK 40gb PS3? I'm using HDTV which apparantely means that PAL/NTSC doesn't apply?

yes all games that are available now are region free. It might change in the future though

I heard it was dependent on the developer? I could be wrong, I usualy am.

Yes, that's right ^^^ and so far no developer has chosen to implement region-locking.

Love the fact the games are region free but hate it that a lot of blu-rays are not... All I want is Lost on blu-ray! Think most people import their games by the sound of it, well why not... cheaper and earlier release dates. Iv got GT5 Prologue on the way

Quite a few 360 games, however are region locked
