Improving FTTP connection around the house?

Power line adapters= crap

Do yourself a favour and properly cat 6 your house, and only use WiFi for things like phones etc.

Just because you don't know how to WiFi doesn't make it crap and this is on WiFi5 too.

I get 1gbps same room about 6M away and half gbps from upstairs.

I finally got the U6 Mesh! The first arrived from Amazon with a powercable that didn't fit, so I sent that back and bought direct (I'm using the POE injector supplied).

Unfortunately I'm getitng worse speeds and coverage than I was from the router sat underneath the TV cabinet. Any ideas please? My layout is as below:

If you have fibre then i'd expect the ONT to hand off with RJ45? Can't you just get a longer RJ45 cable to move the supplied router either to the front of the TV or the side so the TV doesn't block it?
