Just picked up this from the clearance section in OCuk

Asus ATI Radeon X1650 Pro HTD Silent 256MB DDR2 TV-Out/DVI (AGP) - OEM

For 35 notes inc. VAT - good deal?

I need a DX9 card for a second PC, that I might use as a media PC of some sort.

Seemed really cheap for an AGP card, so I thought why not

It'll do the odd game of this and that, I've got the spec in sig for Crysis et al.

S-Video out by the looks of it (it really was an impulse purchase).

I have a 1600XT (£22 ) in my second pc along with a 3.06ghz P4 mildly clocked to 3.4ghz (matx Foxconn mobo won't give me any more) and 2GB of PC2-5300 and it gets 5263 in 3dmark05 which really is'nt that bad. Your's should do a bit better than that.

for price good purchase as for what runs better on ati, things using the source engine like half life 2 css etc they tend to prefer ati to simalar speced nvidia cards.

Good purchase mel. I saw it myself and was tempted for my second system but think I'll put the cash toward a nice shiny new 8800GT next week (or a cheap gts from the MM when the 8800GT's come out)

No harm to have such a thing handy. I got an x300 for £10 myself a while back. Would come in handy if I need to sell the GTX fast
