impulse buying

Hmm let me think ..

- iPhone , I got an N95 8Gb the week before but got tempted , although I do use it as a secondary phone now - but not worth the £320 I spent on it!
- Blade CX2 helicopter - good fun, but I never really used it after a week, just got tempted when I saw one on eBay at work.
- A new gaming PC around a year and a half ago, not really an impulse buy as I did research it etc. but after it was built/OS installed etc. I used my old PC instead, as I couldn't be bothered moving everything across. Was left switched off for 6 months at one point.
- A new laptop (M1330) , still use my old Latitude D520 99% of the time, as everything I need is on there
- Trainers , have bought far too many on impulse, some which I don't even like. I think I have around 10 pairs I don't like at all , and have never worn
- Samsung 22" LCD for gaming PC, bought from a high street shop and got it delivered as OcUK was out of stock, was around £80 more expensive :(

Probably other things as well .. a lot of things I've got I never use at all (although convinced I would need them at the time of purchase!)

Several occasions, more than I care to remember infact on hifi/photography gear. Normally several hundred a time. :(

I've given it up now though - closed my eBay account which was the source of my troubles!

i bought some clear indicator lenses for the RSV Mille.

only to find out that it has non-standard indicators and so they won't fit. :(

Also happened when i imported a race shift converter for it from america... to find it won't fit stock pegs as told. :(

i suppose also...

the RSV Mille i'm on about as well...

I always wanted one and i was fed up at the time... so out come the credit card and bought it. :o

got to stop impulse buying at lunch time, just bought this :(

i know ill keep it thought, it looks pretty

leaving debit card at home form now on. it came to almost £50 when including delivery and vat

Woah... this is why the distance selling act is fantastic. £50 for a mouse mat? I like nice things but that is ridiculous. Please do yourself a favour and send it back :p

Must admit, I very rarely buy anything on impulse. I have to research and check i'm getting it at the best price. Drives the girlfriend mad but I hate wasting money!

I hate buying stuff on impulse as if I do I end up going on the internet and finding it cheaper or that its rubbish.

Recent impulse buys:
1x Bollinger R.D. 1996

Everything else was planned or at least thought about for a month or two..

An electric drumkit from musiclive at the NEC. To be fair though its good fun and the price turned out to be pretty good :D

I got a mouse mat very similar to that made by the same manufacturer with my Logitech MX510 mouse, which I believe I paid around £25 for...

On topic, far too much to mention, I rarely think about things before I buy them. The most recent was an Ipod Nano.

ok so the mouse mat arrived yesterday, and i had every intention of returning it.

i opened it had a little look, tried it, it was very nice combined with my copperhead.

but no! i was determined to return it, im not an idiot who would spend £50 on a mouse mat.

then the little cloth you get to clean it dropped out.

SOLD!!!
