If you going for an internal hdmi screen route, you can try out Lian Li L-Connect, it has a transparent dashboard mode, that shows the basics over your wallpaper. pretty light weight and convenient if you run their fans. Not very customisable but shows all stats I realistically need. Free too.
I've opted for a whole new case upgrade and gone for the Hyte Y70 Touch Infinite with the screen built in looks awesome
