In my opinion AMD should do the following to recover sales

lets hope amd magically land on this thread and notice that we want unlocked multis on all there cpus, lol wouldnt unlocked multis on all there cpus be so good
 
Why would they unlock multis on all there cpu's just means anyone could buy the cheapest amd and get the same peformance as there top end ones.
 
From what I've read, and the info is thin on the ground, K8L isn't due until next year, so Intel will be the dominant performance king for quite some time, especially when you factor in they're rumoured to be releasing quad core by the end of this year.

AMD still offer the best bang for buck thanks to the big price drops that've occurred over the past couple of months.

I don't think AMD will be too concerned with Intel's release of Conroe, they're still getting larger market share in the server market, and as already mentioned, Dell's uptake of AMD cpu's has got to be good business for them.
