In 'n' out service

I'd expect the aux belt to be replaced on a Major service!

The other advisory I would not worry about too much unless your exhaust sounds like hell and is falling off, the steering pulls/clunks etc (track rod), every car over 3 years old has some sort of coil spring corrosion.

I'd get the aux belt replaced if its perishing. This are normally replaced every 3 years or so and are usually quite a simple job on basic engines. (the belts are normally about £10)

~£10 to buy and i'd expected a decent mechanic to take no longer than 1hr to fit (max)

Thanks very much Jay!

I will look into buying an aux belt.
Should I worry about ''Under vehicle engine mount has excessive 'Play' and rubber mount is splitt'' at all?

kind regards

This sounds like the "bottom engine mount". If you get excessive play you will normally see extra engine movement, extra vibrations through the cabin, clunking etc.

Again, if its split they cost around £15-20 and about 30min to remove and fit (need a press to fit)

French cars (as probably many others) normally have 3 engine mounts, one on the top of the engine near the suspension top mount, one on the bottom under the back of the engine and one above the gear box.
