In need of a little Russian help

It translates as guelder rose infusion. I've learned something today in that the "N" character is like a "u" in handwriting.

Hi I'm a friend of GW and it would appear that he has hopefully only temporarily lost his ability to type and in fact communicate in any manor

As above raspberry would be spelled differently. Actually one of the strongest moonshine/homebrew I've had was the Romanian palinka and I think something called vishniata, no idea how to spell the latter as we were mostly crawling on the floor by that point. It actually tasted pretty good but you didn't realise how strong it was until it was too late! Having Romanian housemates in the student house did have its perks.

Strongest alcohol I've had was the summer gone when I was in Poland, visiting our family friend and towards the night he pulled out a bottle of rectified 190 proof spirit and we just took a shot of it. Certainly burned the stomach and isn't something I'd recommend on an empty stomach, I remember similar stuff being sold in US under the name Everclear. Made those shots of Bacardi 151 that I was doing few years back a child's play!
