Not a bad price when they include an uprated cooler (which isn't needed anyway IMO)

Has anyone seen how well these clock yet?

Same or a little better than a 4870 but with DX11 (obviously) and cooler running (even the normal versions) and a lot less power hungry. My rig in siggy with a 4870 pulled a max of 274w full load, 161w idle (at the wall). With the 5770 it's 242w max load and 122w idle.

To me that cooler looks like a cut down Intel stock cooler with a shroud stuck on it.

Cheers pastymuncher, I'm aware of its Evergreen credentials but hadn't noted how its compares to the older HD 4870 in term of rendering muscle! . . .

I'll stop being lazy and get a few HD 5770 reviews down me later, I'll be suprised if its FPS power is much more than a HD 4870 . . .

Price needs to move down about £20 for this to compel me! ;)
