On what? if you have physical access it can be done through safe mode

if not try http://ophcrack.sourceforge.net/

Obviously i don't need to stress that this should only be done on your machine/that which you have permission to perform this on.

using it on an unsuspecting victim should see you strung up by the short and curlies :P
 
the only bad thing about resetting a password (ie, not using ophcrack) is if you've got encrypted files (using this without a floppy disc key backup is asking for trouble) they'll be unrecoverable

and you may have to take ownership of some folders

NT Password reset disk, works for 2k/xp/2k3 (and i think vista/2k8 but not personally tested) excellent little bootable CD that does this cleanly.

Then reboot and login with the new password. Bledd is right regarding the windows encrypted file systems, that stuff will be gone.
