Just transferring from a T-mobile Contract with unlimited data to a 3 PAYG. Today is number transfer day. Calls and text messaging on my number have started working working on the new sim. However - data is still working on the t-mobile SIM.
At the moment I've set up the T-Mobile sim in an old phone as a wi-fi hotspot for tethering and making use of it with the new one.
The T-Mobile T&Cs said they require 30 days notice. Their letter after the transfer request indicated that they were taking my PAC request (5th November) as the start of the 30 days.
How long do you reckon this data only arrangement will last? T-Mobile SIM completely dead in the next few hours or keep on going for another couple of weeks. It'll keep my PAYG data usage down if the latter.
Edit: May have already answered my own question. After a few minutes, data's not working on the old SIM.
