In the process of building PART 2 !!! - *Picture Heavy *

God dammnnit.

seems everything is functioning well but I my computer will not recognize my Netgear WG121 wireless usb adapter. So i downloaded drivers onto a USB and tried installing them but to no avail...
anyone had similar problems when they first began?

Make sure the software/driver is the correct one for your model, install the driver first before plugging in the device, plug in device and your away or you should be.

Good to hear it's running as it should though:D

thanks!

I tried that... it still does not regonize the adapter.

The odd thing is, I have tried connecting via an ethernet cable but that does not work either...

Is it possible when I was building at I missed a plug ^^?

I would go into device manager and make sure you have all relevant items listed with drivers installed, any yellow exclamation marks

The only plug part is if you are using the front usb connections and the header is incorrectly installed, so try installing it on the rear usb connections, if you have already ignore this bit.

Aside from that the usb and network connection are an integral part of the motherboard, so it's got to be drivers, netgear equipment issue, something like that.

Did you install all the motherboard drivers ok?

did you install all the drivers that came with the mobo?

as mentioned in an earlier post, along with the chipset drivers there will be ones for network and audio etc. make sure you have installed all drivers for the mobo.

sounds like you are short of a few drivers for your mobo....if your not sure put the mobo disk in and let it install all if it has the function.....then it will see your netgear adapter once you install its drivers..... you have learnt a lot about computers today i think?
