The price is a bit more than they had intended for it, but then again I think it's jyst another example of us getting stitched up being in the UK and our VAT.

Well I think that train you were trying to shift last year was more unique, but this is definitely 'out there'. Kudos to OcUK for living up to the 'Case King' legacy and stocking such a wide range.

Only apply for this case if you have cable-tidying skills like a pro, live in a dust-free environment and spend more time looking at your PC than using it ;)

Is this the most expensive PC case ever made?

Not even close. And I bet there are even more expensive cases out there

YOUR BASKET
1 x In-Win H Frame King HPTX Tower USB 3.0 - Black / Red £1099.99
1 x OrigenAE S21T HTPC Case with 12.1" Touchscreen Display - Silver £799.99
Total : £1,920.20 (includes shipping : £16.85).

There was a thermaltake case made out of aluminium I think that was around £1k!!

As for the case, no thanks. Will stick to my 350D. Respect to Iwin for making these cases but they must make some serious Dollar on each case as there is no way that, that thing cost anywhere near £700 to make.

Red Harbinger Cross desk for $2000 (about £1250) plus shipping. I wanted that but could never justify spending so much on a case/desk lol.

I think this case looks nice but I'd rather stick with my Corsair 540.

I think it looks really smart, but the price is mental and not having any "hidden" area makes for nasty cable management, and not being able to "hide" things.

This would be the biggest flaw in my eyes, scattered cables and extra bits and bobs clearly on show from every angle, would ruin the idea of it surely?

There is quite a large space behind the mobo for cable management (with grommet-less holes) and the HDDs go on shelves with their connections at the rear.
They do rely on it being dark on that side to prevent it all from being revealed though.

Does it come with special gloves like jewellers wear for when you want to handle it? or do you just need to Mr Muscle the fingerprints off it every few hours?

No, but you do get rubber suction cups to manhandle the panels without getting your sticky prints all over it.

For me, there's just not enough practical functionality for the price and that top panel is hideous.

Apart from the fact they're not 'Limited Edition' - meaning no unique number or production run... i.e. Any kinda of case with a limited production run will be more unique than this! :p

(I have one of the original 'ClearPC's' in a box somewhere...)

Perhaps the biggest concern, though, would simply be that owning a glass case of which only 200 will be made, brings up big concerns for how practical it would be to own for even the medium term.
