"Inbox me"

Looks like it's 1995 again.

Inbox me. I'm using Netscape mail client.

In America, maybe yes in 1995 or 1996 due to local-rate numbers being free.

Us plebs in the UK though didn't really get online until 1998 or 1999 because that's when the flat-rate £15/month 0800 ISPs started to appear.

Like further up this thread, I still say that "inbox me" is isolated to Facebook users.
 
Can someone confirm that this is incorrect grammer:

"Hi, can I get a medium coffee?"

rather than:

"Hi, can I have a medium coffee?"

Before I rant on about how insanely stupid it is, I just want to check I'm correct. It drives me up the freaking wall...
