Incandescents - do you still use them?

Our lounge has some halogen R7s which I couldn't see an easy LED replacement for, other than that just moving to LED as and when things are replaced.

I have two remaining: one in each of the kids' bedrooms.

Reason being, they have shades that cast funky patterns on the ceiling, but they don't work with anything other than old filament bulbs.

I have just a single 100watt one in my bathroom and the rest of the house is all LED bulbs now apart from two bedrooms which take G4 bulbs..

I have not be able to find a bright enough LED bulb to replace the 100w bathroom bulb yet..

I just completed my house renovation, the Elec I used fitted all incandescents during the work. Once I moved in I replaced every single one with LED which wasn't cheap at 8 quid a pop but I read it saves you a few quid in the long run. Obviously its gonna take a while to recoup the initial outlay, but hopefully they'll last a very long time.
I was sick of my old GU10 spots in my kitchen in my old house so I used LED commerical spots and they are fantastic no more changing GU10's every 8-10 weeks.

I still have incandescents for the bathroom, hall kitched etc as they give instant light and LED's are pricey. They don't get switched on for long so last for years.

I replaced the 100w incandescents in the lounge with cfl lights all "Warm White" type, 2700K. Light is the same colour as the old bulbs (can't stand the really white light some cfl's give out in the lounge). 30W = 150W incandescent apparently (I find these comparisons under powered, I find the "150W" actually closer to the old 100W in reality.) One day LED will have the equivalent light output, but not yet.
